How Alex Salmond avoids paying Income Tax to Scotland


Hypocrisy is rife within the SNP


Depite the SNP saying no SNP MP would have a second Job , Alex Salmond currently has four Jobs.
The problem with having four Jobs of course is all the loot you can rake in and the large amount of Tax you would have to pay as a high earning individual from having four Jobs in total.The way around this of course is to arrange a method of dodging Tax which is exactly what Alex Salmond has decided to do..the man has no morals ....4 jobs and deliberate Tax evasion ..all from the previous leader of the "supposedly higher moralistic SNP"   ...it is like lots of other things with the SNP....a LIE.

Alex Salmond has set up an unlimited company to handle revenue acquired through his burgeoning writing career .
The former First Minister is the sole shareholder in The Chronicles Of Deer, which will receive the outside earnings from his published works.
The company already has the copyright on his best-selling referendum diary ‘The Dream Shall Never Die’ and is similar to those set up by other authors to reduce their tax liabilities.
The arrangement means that revenue would be taxed at the corporation rate of 20 per cent rather than the higher income tax rate of 40 per cent or 45 per cent.
Although no money has yet been deposited in the company’s coffers, when it is, it can then be withdrawn gradually as salary and dividends, reducing income tax and national insurance.
Mr Salmond, who is MSP for Aberdeenshire East, declared the new arrangement in his Scottish Parliament register of interests earlier this month – it was published on Friday.
In the Scottish Parliament register of interests, he states: “From March 2, 2015 I have owned an ordinary shareholding in Chronicles Of Deer, a company for publishing books and writings.
“This constitutes 100 per cent of the issued share capital.
Because the new company is unlimited rather than limited, Mr Salmond has unlimited liability for any debts and is not required to file annual accounts at Companies House.
However, Mr Salmond, who is also standing in Gordon for the Westminster election on May 7, has told the parliament he will voluntarily update his register of interests.
The Chronicles Of Deer was incorporated as a private unlimited company on February 13.
Its directors were solicitor Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh who resigned in May 2015 after only a few months and John Cairns, who is an accountant who specialises in “tax efficient investments”.

Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh is alreadly under the spotlight for her dodgy record in actually providing money to "good causes" by the charity she set-up and ran, it is becoming obvious that it was no more than a vehicle for personal promotion to help her get elected.

The Charity was set-up with a grant from Scottish Government of  £16000  and had registered income of over £25,000  and yet the amount that Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh gave to good causes was only £700 while other money appears to have been spent ppromoting her own political career, does this sound open and honest ?

The SNP's plan to control Scotlands media

" The SNP are attempting to take over the BBC and in particular they want to introduce a Scottish 6 o'clock news to replace the current arrangement of national news followed by Scottish news. They claim to speak for the whole of Scotland when they say they want the BBC to hand over a substantial amount of the licence fee. They also claim that people in Scotland want more "Scottish" programmes. They also want BBC Scotland to be answerable to them. This is not the case. The SNP do not speak for the majority in Scotland. We want the BBC to remain a British broadcasting company. We want to continue to enjoy the high quality programmes it produces. We want to continue with the current arrangements regarding delivery of our news. Scotland is well served by the BBC both on the television and the radio. We do not want state propaganda tv controlled by the SNP."

Scots should be aware, if the SNP gets voted back in to Holyrood with a majority in May they have made it clear they intend to take control of BBC Scotland and then they will broadcast all the Propaganda they like without anyone having the power to stop them ..think about this carefully before you Vote next MAY in the Holyrood Elections for the SNP.

This is on top of the SNP's plans for  a "Snoopers" central database for Scotland to record all Scots personal details that they can collect on people including NHS records, Council payment records, Social payments and "Named person data"collected on your children without your permission. One of the Scottish Governments "named persons" was recently struck off for "child sex offences" yet this is the risk that the SNP want to impose on all Scots families without having them having any option to "opt out" of it.

The Warnings were all there when ex SNP Pitbull Linda Fabiani called for the SNP to take control of the media to help gain "Independence". Goebbels would be proud of what the SNP are trying to do to Scotland.

We saw what they tried to do last Hogmanay with STV !!  This is the sort of thing you'd expect in China or North Korea  not in a supposedly "free thinking country" . If anything  demonstrates the small minded inward thinking of Scottish Nationalists this was it. It was also the ploy of Hitler and Goebbels to use the media to brainwash and influence people with false information and lies.






Perhaps Scots Viewers didn't want Sturgeons family version of North Korea after all ?

STV'S STURGEON HOGMANAY SHOW A POOR THIRD
The figures are in:-
1. BBC Scotland Hogmanay ( Jackie Bird ) - 907,000 viewers in Scotland,
2. BBC2 Hogmanay ( Jools Holland and co ) - 221,000 viewers in Scotland. ...
3. STV Hogmanay ( Sturgeon et al ) - 174,000 viewers in Scotland.

Nicola Sturgeon's Gobbelesque attempt at trying to Politicalise Hogmanay seems to have been a turn-off  (or Turn Over ?) for viewers, it appears there were far better things to do than worship the small shouty Dictator on the new STV Party Channel. (I wonder if shareholders were ever consulted on this commercial disaster of an idea ?).
